The Grand Prize is nothing short of a Masterpiece of its own.
The reward for entering and winning this recipe competition is an unforgettable experience. The Grand Prize winner will be treated to a specially curated meal prepared for the occasion by celebrated chef Michele Casadei Massari, the US Brand Ambassador for Parmigiano Reggiano.
The dinner will take place at Lucciola, Chef Michele’s award-winning restaurant. The prize includes a two night trip for two to New York.
From street vendors to fine dining, New York City is home to some of the world’s best food. This is one of the main reasons why Chef Michele Casadei Massari decided to open up his restaurant, Lucciola on New York’s Upper West Side. And it is here that the winner of the Masterpiece Recipe Competition will be served a custom designed meal based on Parmigiano Reggiano, prepared by Chef Michele himself.
An exclusive meal prepared by Chef Michele is more than just food – it is truly a magical experience. Chef Michele takes great pride in telling a story with food. He loves to explain why quality ingredients make such a big difference, and tell you the story behind the dishes he prepares. Also, he’s a veritable encyclopedia when it comes to the traditions of Parmigiano Reggiano and he enjoys sharing his knowledge with his guests.
Keep in mind that the judges will select the Category Winners from the Category Finalists in each category. The Category Finalists will be the recipes that get the most votes online. So, invite your friends to vote for your recipe, and you will have a better chance of winning!
Every Category Winner will receive a special box filled with gifts such as limited edition cheese knives, cutting boards, aprons and more.
Every recipe that qualifies as a Category Finalist will be featured on our Recipe Section.
The Category Winners will be identified and their recipes will include photos and comments by our celebrated judges.
Every winner will be notified on Parmigiano Reggiano Day, and their accomplishment will be celebrated on our site and our social channels.
