Thanks to thermochromic technology, the Sensei plates will subtly change the color depending on the temperature and nature of the food on the plate. Sensei will create an underpainting to showcases the meal in a dynamic and interesting way, therefore creating a diverse visual experience for the diner and a new playground of presentation opportunities for the chef. At 30C°, the plate turns in light orange in a radius of two centimeters and shows which part of the food is warm by the framing effect. At 5-15C°, the area around the colder food turns whitish. Made of beige earthenware, Sensei delivers a natural organic feel further accentuated with subtle asymmetrical curves.
