Here’s how the contest works.

We’ve made it as simple as possible for you to have a chance to win the Grand Prize

STEP 1:
Submit your recipes.

You can’t win if you don’t enter….so get to work and come up with a great way to include Parmigiano reggiano in your masterpiece. You can enter as many recipes as you wish in as many categories as you wish. However, keep in mind that you can’t enter the same recipe in multiple categories.

STEP 2:
Get your friends to vote.

The first round of voting is done online. The recipes that get the most votes in each category will become the Category Finalists, from which
the Judges will identify the Category Winners. So, it is important that your recipe gets as many votes as possible – therefore we invite you to
reach out to your friends, family, colleagues and followers – and ask them to vote for you.

Once you submit a recipe we will automatically send you a link via email, making it easier for you to send it to your connections.

Please keep in mind that each recipe will not be able to receive multiple votes from the same person.

STEP 3:
The Judges select the Category Winners.

Our panel of chefs will evaluate the Category Finalists and select one Category Winner per category. As part of the process, the judges will make the recipe and provide comments based on the Selection Criteria.

STEP 4:
Chef Michele picks the Grand Prize Winner.

Chef Michele will evaluate the Category Winners and will identify the recipe that he feels should be awarded the Grand Prize. And on October 27, we will announce the winner as part of our Parmigiano Reggiano Day celebration – and will notify all of the Finalists and Category Winners about their accomplishment

Important Requirement:

ORIGINALITY
You may only submit recipes that have been developed by you.

You cannot submit a recipe that you have copied from a recipe book, amagazine or a website.

Your recipe can be inspired by another source, however in that case you must share the source using the NOTE field in the Recipe Entry Form, and tell us how you’ve changed the original recipe. Without this information, we cannot accept your recipe.

TASTE
The recipes will be judged based on how Parmigiano Reggiano influenced the flavor, texture and arome of the final dish.

APPEARANCE
The judges will take a look at the photos you submitted to evaluate the visual appeal and presentation of the recipe in terms of colors, textures, composition, etc.

CREATIVITY
The judges will compare recipes based on originality and creativity. They will look for unusual combinations of flavors or textures, as well as innovative ways to leverage the qualities of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.

DIRECTIONS
Another important consideration is how well the recipe directions are written – and how easy is it to follow the steps of the cooking process

The last day to enter your recipe is October 15 – after that the Recipe Entry Form and the Voting Portal will no longer be accessible.
